HELLO! I’m Aly, owner and creator of The Vine’s Leaf, Custom Blooms. My dream of being an entrepreneur started at a very young age and has never stopped growing. My floral experience began ten years ago when I started a college job at a downtown flower shop in San Luis Obispo. The job was a dream and I soaked up everything that I could from the very moment that I began. I spent my entire college career in that shop, and then some, to build my foundation as a florist.
After earning my degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Agricultural Business Marketing with a minor in Ornamental Horticulture, I decided it was time to head back down to Southern California and keep moving up the ‘Entrepreneurial Ladder’. I dove right into the Orange County Wedding Industry with a super busy Newport Beach wedding florist and loved every second of it! I continued to build onto my experience as well as broadening my creativity and from there I branched off on my own to create The Vine’s Leaf, Custom Blooms. Since 2007 I have been growing and developing my passion into my “Dream Job” reality.
The Vine’s Leaf began as a retail florist shop in San Clemente, but as we continued to grow, our direction was clearly going towards all things Weddings and Special Events. We reached a point where it was obvious that our next step was to dive fully into the Wedding and Event Industry and give it our ALL! So that we did and have never looked back! We are continually infiltrating ourselves further into the Southern California Wedding Industry through unique networking opportunities, creative photo shoots with insanely talented Industry Leaders, as well as constantly growing our online portfolio of featured work on the most esteemed Wedding Blogs on the web.
Aly had a few simple requests for us…a site that functions, looks amazing, and is easy for her to update herself. So we changed her site from a static front page, to a blog orientated site. She always has amazing weddings to post, and now it’s easy for everyone to see her beautiful work!
